Practice doesn't make perfect.
Feedback does.

Rhetoric records your presentation and analyzes your body language, facial expression, voice, and story — the way a real coach would. Then it tells you exactly what to fix.

Rhetoric AI presentation coaching app — classical marble bust of Cicero holding a modern iPhone, bridging ancient rhetorical mastery with AI-powered feedback on body language, voice, and story

Built by Dwayne Riner — communications coach for Fortune 1000 executives, pastors, and sales teams

You finished your presentation. But you have no idea how it actually landed.

You rehearsed in front of the mirror. Maybe you watched a playback. But mirrors don't tell you that you crossed your arms for three straight minutes. Playback doesn't measure whether your pace was too fast or your pauses were missing. And neither one can tell you if your story actually took your audience somewhere.

Most presenters walk offstage with a gut feeling and a few polite comments. That's not coaching. That's guessing.

Four dimensions of feedback. One recording.

Hit record, deliver your talk, and Rhetoric handles the rest. On-device AI watches your body language and facial expressions in real time. Your voice is transcribed and analyzed for pace, energy, filler words, and pausing. Your story is evaluated for clarity, structure, and emotional arc.

The result: a detailed coaching report scored across 7 categories — with specific, actionable feedback written in the voice of a colleague who knows what they're talking about.

Body Language

Posture, gestures, movement, and physical presence — are you commanding the room or hiding behind the podium?

Facial Expression

Warmth, engagement, eye contact — does your face match your message, or are you sending mixed signals?

Voice & Delivery

Pace, tone, energy, filler words, pausing — are you holding attention or losing it?

Story & Structure

Clarity, narrative arc, audience-centered messaging — does your talk take people somewhere, or just give them information?

Three steps. Under five minutes to your first report.

1

Record

Open the app, name your session, and hit record. Deliver your talk — the whole thing, or just the section you want to work on. Rhetoric watches and listens through your front-facing camera.

2

Analyze

On-device AI captures your body language and expressions. Your audio is transcribed word-for-word. Everything feeds into a coaching engine built on frameworks from professional communications coaching.

3

Improve

Get your scored report with specific feedback across all 7 categories. See your transcript with optional story refinement suggestions. Track your progress over time.

Paste your script and get story flow analysis before you ever step in front of the camera. Rhetoric evaluates your structure, identifies competing main points, and suggests specific refinements — so you know the words work before you practice the delivery.

Included with every plan. 10 script analyses per month.

Whether you're pitching a boardroom or preaching to a congregation.

The Executive

You present to boards, lead all-hands, and pitch stakeholders. You've never had a coach, but you know your delivery could be sharper. Rhetoric gives you the feedback your team won't.

The Sales Rep

You pitch every day. You lose deals and don't always know why. Rhetoric shows you exactly where your delivery falls apart — and what to fix before the next call.

The Pastor

You preach every week. You care deeply about whether your message lands. Rhetoric is the honest feedback no one in your congregation will give you.

The High-Stakes Presenter

TEDx talk. Job interview. Product launch. Conference keynote. When the moment matters, Rhetoric helps you show up ready.

Built by a coach. Not a tech company.

Rhetoric was built by Dwayne Riner — a communications coach who has spent years working with Fortune 1000 executives, sales teams, and church leaders. The coaching frameworks inside Rhetoric aren't generated from a generic AI prompt. They're the same frameworks Dwayne uses in person, encoded into every analysis.

The other apps in this space are training tools — they teach you exercises and drills. Rhetoric is different. You bring a real presentation, and it coaches you on the real thing.

Those apps are a gym. Rhetoric is a coach watching you perform.

Rhetoric Coaching — Coming Soon!

Personal feedback from Dwayne Riner on your sessions. Async coaching with 48-hour turnaround.

Your video is permanently deleted the moment your report is generated. Rhetoric never stores, shares, or uses your recordings for anything beyond your personal coaching report. We built it this way because we know who uses this app — executives, leaders, and professionals who need to trust the tool before they'll open up in front of it.

Rhetoric uses Apple's on-device Vision framework for body language and facial expression — the same technology used in Face ID. Voice analysis uses OpenAI's Whisper transcription for word-level accuracy. Story coaching is powered by Claude AI using frameworks from professional communications coaching. The result is analysis that's specific to your actual performance, not generic advice.

Yes. You can record a full presentation or select a specific section — Hook, Main Point, Illustration, Transition, or Call to Action. Each section type has its own coaching criteria, so you get feedback tailored to what that part of your talk needs to accomplish.

Playback shows you what happened. Rhetoric tells you what it means. You might notice you were pacing, but Rhetoric measures whether your movement was purposeful or distracting, scores it against coaching benchmarks, and tells you specifically what to do differently. That's the difference between a mirror and a coach.

Rhetoric is built for anyone who communicates in high-stakes moments — from a Sunday sermon to a quarterly business review to a job interview. You don't need to be a professional speaker. You need to care about whether your message lands.

Rhetoric is currently iOS only. Android is on the roadmap.

Cicero orating in the Roman Forum — the original master of rhetoric

The original presentation coach
was a Roman senator named Cicero.

Two thousand years ago, Cicero defined the art of persuasive speaking — and it had nothing to do with slides. He taught that great communication requires mastery across five disciplines. He called them the five canons of rhetoric.

We named this app after that tradition because the principles haven't changed. Your audience still reads your body before your words. Your story still matters more than your data. And honest feedback is still the fastest way to improve.
